T.N.P.S. Palla No. 1, Faridabad, is a co-educational day boarding school. It has two wings (buildings) i.e. English Medium Wing and Hindi Medium Wing with approximately 2000 students on its rolls. The school provide the facilities of Science Labs, Math Labs, Computer Labs, Home Science Labs, a virtual library and arts, music and dance centers. It also provides latest sports facilities to all its students, our well planned and aesthetically designed airy classrooms and laboratories make sure to create a learning interest in all the students and provide them with the best of education. Pre-Primary Section:
Here teaching is tailored to suit the needs of the students by involving them in the learning process and maintaining their interest. The formal education system is introduced using NCERT as a guideline. It is only in grade III that a child first appears for a short exam. The home assignments given are not a carry over of the class work but are oriented towards bringing perfection in individual talents. Special stress is given on projects and group activities. There are no formal examinations for classes I to V, although grades are awarded to our students on the basis of continuous evaluation through out the year.
Middle Section:
The students of classes VI-IX learn atleast one extra language in addition to Hindi and English,or Sanskrit.

It is expected that all students would have studied three languages upto class VIII. This is according to the three language formula of the Govt. of India. However, those students who cannot clear the third language in Class VIII and are promoted to class IX shall be examined by the School at the end of class IX in the same syllabus and text books as are prescribed for class VIII. A student must qualify in the third language before becoming eligible for appearing at the Secondary School Examination of the Board at the end of class X.

Parent Teacher Interaction :
For parents to maintain a close repport with the teachers teaching their wards in the school, Parents Teacher Meeting is held on every second Saturday of the month. However parents of students studying in school can meet the concerned teachers on every Wednesday from 2:00p.m to 2:30p.m with prior appointment.

Laboratory
Chemistry Lab:
The hub of budding chemists. The lab is well equipped to provide the best of facilities to experiment and infer the results. The Chemistry Lab is one of the most interesting areas for science students to work and co-relate that life is a collection of chemical elements.
Biology Lab:
Biology lab allows the students to observe, understand and perceive various biology concepts. The lab allows the student to gain experience, observe and analyses the experiments in lab.
Physics Lab:
The Physics lab helps the students enhance their learning capabilities by doing practicals. The students work independently in lab to widen their horizon.
Experiments are explained and done, with care given to intricate details so that it remains imbibed in the young minds.
Math Lab:
To facilitate directed discovery, learning and develop analytical thinking, we have provided the students with a well -equipped Math’s lab. Our highly qualified and experienced Math’s faculty imparts a strong logical orientation to the entire learning experience.
Computer Lab:
In keeping with the world wide trends of I.T. based teaching and learning , we at TNPS have set up three computer labs comprising of latest technology based computers. Internet access is made available to students. The school has well equipped science and computer laboratories. The school boasts of sophisticated multimedia computer labs one each for primary ,middle and senior segments, to expose the children to the rudiments of computer environment at a young age, when they are at a learning stage and the capacity to grasp is high. This exposure to computer at a tender age would prepare them for the future computerized age.
Library
School Library
The school library has a very good collection of books in different subjects and for general reading. Housed above the administrative department, the senior school library is very spacious providing an optimum studying environment for the students. The Primary wing also has a well-stocked library providing pleasurable reading to the young tiny tots. More than 18, 000 books are stocked and 40 magazines are subscribed by the school.
Senior library has a collection of reference books, students course books ,teachers copies, audio-visual aids etc.
Compact discs, LCD Projector, Video and Audio Cassettes covering a wide range of subjects and current topics supplement the repository of the teaching aids used as a part of the pedagogical process. A well organised and prompt library service is one of the distinctive features of the school. The school library has a collection of wonderful & exciting books suited to the needs & tastes of growing children. The reading room is regularly updated with useful journals & newspapers for all ages, abilities & aptitudes.
