Emerald Convent School is located in Sector 79, Greater Faridabad, one of the eminent locations in Faridabad, Haryana. The school is established with a vision of providing quality education to students. It is an English medium, co-educational school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school is dedicated to provide world class educational facilities to the students and offers education from Pre-nursery to Class XII in Science and Commerce only.
The school was set up and managed by Arya Dayanand Shiksha Samiti which was established in 1998. The society is further nurtured by great many philanthropists and official & non-official enthusiasts and today thousands of our children are being nurtured and nourished in the soothing shade of this mammoth tree of education society.

Criteria for admission
A general written test of English and Maths for class K.G to XI as per the syllabus prescribed by school followed by an interaction with the parents and the child.
For Pre-Nur and Nursery an informal interaction with the child and the parents.

Report card of previous class attended for K.G to XI.

To nurture individuality other sporting activities such as table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton, horse riding, gymnastics, martial arts are also available. Inter house games fixtures strengthen the mind, body and spirit of young em`eraldians. Yoga is woven into our curriculum as an extremely essential feature to help a child of the 21st century cope with pressure of expectations- physically. Mentally and spiritually open only from IIIrd standard onwards. CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

MUSIC, ART & DRAMA
Each emeraldian is presented with thrill of self-expression through the agency of visual arts music making and create drama. The music department imparts instruction in the playing of both Indian & western instruments- Percussion and string. For singers, there is Indian and western group singing. The hub of ingenuity the art and craft studio is the place to be in - to see young animated minds form master pieces from diverse material- oil paint, water color, dyes, wax, clay and even waste. Suspense, melodrama, comedy satire, musical, fantasy, pantomime you name it and the scholars do it, besides set design, costume design and stage management.
