The Delhi Public School Society is a non-profit, non-proprietary educational body widely recognised for its progressive approach and commitment to excellence. Distinction and diversity are the twin hallmarks of it's philosophy, educational leadership and scholarly achievement it's mission. Strong in tradition, the society has evolved as a matrix of networking among the state, national and international educational institutions.
History
From a small beginning in the President's Estate in 1941 as Church High School to Naveen Bharat School in 1947 and finally in 1949 at its present location on Mathura Road, DPS has traversed a long journey. The birth of a new nation in 1947 was in a way the beginning of DPS (called Naveen Bharat then). A momentous time in the history of our nation, when a beginning was made to fulfill a social, national need.
Establishment
Delhi Public Schools, with the motto "Service Before Self", have been serving the Society in the field of education for the last 60 years. There are presently as many as 150 schools under its aegis, both in and outside India.
The Delhi Public School Society started its first school in the year 1948, and since then has been imparting quality education aiming at the overall development of each child. Most of the Schools are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
The focus of the society, simply, is on high achievement in it's strong programme. A substantial co-curricular programme is also offered.

The Schools strive to be known for their excellence in teaching, by providing students with highest quality instruction, library and lab resources required for comprehensive learning and bringing out hidden talents of the students.

The school aims at all round development of a child's personality by providing education of a high quality, an atmosphere that is friendly and relaxed and a setting that furnishes all the necessary tools of learning.
The school endeavours to guide the students through a system beyond pure academics, towards development of a balanced personality. The focal point in this development process is the inculcation of attitudes that help students bloom naturally into well-balanced individuals, to meet various challenges, as well as contribute responsibly to the society. Accreditation
DPS Bahadurgarh is affiliated with CBSE Board. The Affiliation No. is- 530638. The School is affiliated up to Senior Secondary Level. The School has obtained No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Directorate of School Education, Haryana State and also has recognition to run an educational institute in Haryana up to 12th Standard. The Recognition No. is 477/JJR/12th/BOSE/2007. It enrolls children from Nursery onwards.

Registration Form
A tear-off form of Registration is attached with the prospectus which is available at school reception for Rs. 200. Registration form can also be downloaded from the link given below. Completed Registration Form can be submitted in the school office between 09:00 a.m. and 02:00 p.m. with the registration fees of Rs. 1300 payable in cash.

1. Hostel :-
DPS Bahadurgarh provides hostel facility for boys.

2. Transport :-
There is a well organized transport facility in the school for the safety of the students. Availing the school transport facility is optional. School transport is available on 18 (Seniors) & 5 (Juniors) routes.
3. Clinic :-
School has tie up with nearby hospital for emergency cases. School also has an 24 hours Ambulance for such cases.
4. Library :-
The school library has been set up to support the academic mission of the school and to enhance the students’ knowledge. Our library consists of more than 12,000 books on all subjects. It includes a large variety of reference books (Encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, thesaurus etc.) Newspapers, Journals. Magazines are also available on current affairs/day to day issues of society and also books of competitive exams/Olympiads and NTSE.
5. Laboratories :-
* Science Labs : Following the Principle of Learning by doing. The School has developed well equipped Science Labs. One General Science Lab is available for classes VI-X. For Senior Secondary level, separate Physics, Chemistry and Biology Labs are available.
* Computer Labs : The school has two computer labs for junior and senior wings separately. Labs are equipped with latest computer technology.
6. Smart Classrooms :-
The school has introduced smart classrooms from Nursery to class XII. There is an interactive whiteboard on which diagrams, pictures and lessons are presented through a projector. We also have a resource centre where teachers plan lessons for their classes as per the need of the students.
