Library :-
School Library is the storehouse of knowledge and DPS Faridabad’s Library is rich in books of various fields. The Library caters to the interests of the students and boasts of nearly 32000 books in the Sr.Library and 16000 books in Jr.Library. The students have a bar-coded identity card which gives them the right to issue books from the Library. Reference books, magazines and periodical publications are to be read in the Library only. Students issue books and increase their knowledge in various fields. The Library is not only well stocked but even fully computerized. The students are taught to respect the value of the books and abide by the rules of the Library. Activities related to reading and writing is periodically conducted to instill the habit of reading. The Library promotes spirit of inquiry, to value and preserve the rich heritage and also stresses towards excellence in all spheres of individual and collective activity so that students constantly rise to higher levels of endeavor and achievements.
Educom :-
The Smart Class programme is designed by a dedicated team of computer professionals and a team of expert teachers of different subjects who design them at the curriculum research centre. Teachers are also encouraged to create their own resources in the form of presentations, which are included in the Smart Class modules.

Labs :-
Maths Lab
Maths lab offers multiple teaching and learning aids based on various branches of maths which helps students to visiualize and feel maths. Learning aids can be videos, measuring instruments, table, charts etc. based on the 3 pillars of imagination and interaction lab provides an opportunity to students to understand and discover the basic mathematical and geometrical concepts. With the mission of making maths interesting by CBSE the role the maths lab is very large. Maths lab is a place where students can learn and explore maths concepts and verify maths facts and theorem through a variety of activities using different materials.
Language Lab
The language lab is an excellent solution to bringing the speaking skills of our students in line with their writing and reading abilities. It follows the Natural Method-listen, understand & speak. It uses the communicative method with the help of linguaphone graded teaching material-textbooks, headphones, computers electronic sound reproduction devices etc. Everything is housed in an acoustically treated and air-conditioned language lab-room. 50 students at a time can avail the facilities in the lab for English, Hindi, Sanskrit and French. There are 2 functional language labs to facilitate training for this era of communication.
Clinic :-
Medical check up of students is done and a record is maintained. Parents are informed if the doctor finds
that a child needs special medical attention. Thereafter the parents are expected to keep the school doctor
informed about the action taken.
Parents are requested not to send a sick child to school to attend classes or to appear for examinations as
the child’s health is of prime importance.
The medical history of the student must be mentioned by the parents in the almanac. In case any child is on
regular medication the details should be submitted to the class teacher and to the school doctor.
Transport :-
The School owns 38 buses and 4 are hired on contract basis.
Students can avail the School Transport subject to the availability of seats. The routes of the school buses are drawn up and the parents should consult the school transport incharge for necessary details.
